Gamecube GBA Player Attachment Review

Hey guys, today i’m going to talk about accessory for the Gamcube. To be honest the other day i bought the Gamecube just for the GBA (Game Boy Advanced) Player. The GBA is a Hand Held system that came out before the DS. So this attachment for your gamecube will let you play your hand held games on the big screen! When you get the GBA player you put it at the bottom of your Gamecube. The GBA player is just as wide as the Gamecube but is like an Inch in Height. Any way there is slots at the bottom of your Gamecube. So then you need a screw driver and screw the screws into position. Then MAKE SURE you have the disk to put in the Gamecube to make it work. So then under the controller thing there is a GBA game slot to put your games. Put on in and turn on the Gamecube and there you have it. To eject the game you inserted you pull the lever at the side of the GBA player. This GBA player is also compatible with GB and GBC games. So when you playing your game there is something that says “Press Z for Options.” If you press z you get a menu which allows you to change the frame of the game, to make the game full screen or regular, something to edit the graphics and thats basically it. I RECOMMEND this to anyone who has a Gamecube. I bought the Gamecube with the GBA player for 50$ used on ebay. Yes, they don’t have this in stores. But i highly recommend you buy it online. So if you like the gameboy this is something you NEED!!!

Super Mario 3D Land – Game Review (3ds)

Hey guys this is a game i’ve been playing lately and I wanted to tell you about it.

This game is called mario 3d land. One of the first games to come out for the 3ds. As for story peach gets stollen from Bowser and you have to save her. There are 8 worlds and 8 special worlds after you beat the game. For gameplay this game has got good gameplay and controls. For gameplay you have 16 world and along side of that you can collect 3 star metals for each level and if you can get the top of the flag pole (where you finish a level) for each level you unlock a special level. The controls aren’t what you expect. The analog stick works fine but the buttons for the sprint and to jump are weird. Well to jump you can press A and B. But B is usually to sprint. Now Y sprints which is weird. As for the 3d aspect its pretty good. Its no longer side scrolling. For power ups there are a Mushroom, Fire Flower (Lets you shoot fire), Boomerang suite (lets you use boomerangs), and finally a Tanooki suite (which lets you glide and kill enemies by pressing B. Which was in super mario bros. 3 and made its second appearance in 3d land. They also brought back the Airships which also was in Super Mario Bros 3. Some bummers is that there aren’t that many secrets at all and the levels don’t have as many challenges in the previous games. You also need to press L to go in a pipe which is really uncalled for. BUT A REALLY GOOD THING IS THAT THEY ADDED LUIGI!!!!!!!!!! Any way everything else is good about this game but I will give it a 8/10 because of the disadvantages i just mentioned. This game costs 40$ and i totally recommend it to anyone who has a 3ds.

Super Mario Galaxy: Game Review (Wii)

Today I’m going to write about the game Super Mario Galaxy. This game starts off at the Star Festival which happens every 100 years because that is when the comet passes by. So at the Star Festival Bowser (The Typical Mario Enemy) invades the Mushroom Kingdom where the Star Festival is Taking Place. Where Bowser as usual takes peach. When all the chaos is going on Mario gets blasted of into a weird planet when he encounters Rosalina. She takes Mario to her ship and sends him on the quest to find stars. She wants him to find the stars to power Rosalinas’ ship so they can find Peach and Defeat Bowser. So to find the stars you will go in a Dome and go into a Galaxy. There are typically 3 missions unless it’s a Minor galaxy which only has 1 mission. In every level you will see sparkling small stars which are Star Bits. You can use these star bits to feed Hungry Lumas to get to different galaxies. The last galaxy in every dome is Either a Bowser Level or a Bower Jr. level. When you beat the last level of the dome you get a Grand Star which a boost of energy for Rosalinas’ ship. Now just because you beat the first dome doesn’t mean your done with it. You can replay every level to discover Hidden star’s. But you also discover Prankster Comets which spawn comets in levels you already played. That’s why I Love this game becuase all galaxies have re-playabilty. Now there are different kinds of comets. There are”Speedy”, “Daredevil”, “Cosmic”, “Fast Foe” and “Purple” comets. The speedy comets time you and you have to beat the level in a certain time. Daredevil comets is when they make you beat a level which one life. Fast Foe Comet is when all the enemies are fast and attack quicker. A Cosmic Comet is when you race for a star with cosmic Mario. The cosmic mario is Blue and Black. And the most annoying Purple Comets or Purple Coin Mission. Thats when they put 100 purple coins on the map and you have to collect all of them. Some of them are timed. There is also a green star which when you find all three unlock the hardest galaxies in the game.

Now for the Basics and Controls. Z is to Crouch. C is to change the angle. And use the analog stick to move around. A to jump. – or + to pause the game. If you Hold Z and press A still you will do a Backflip. If you Press Z and A while moving you will do a Long jump. And when you shake the controller you do a spin attack. When you press A to a wall you can wall jump too.

Now the basics. 1 ups are Green Mushrooms which give you lives. Red mushrooms are Health Extensions giving you 6 Hearts instead of 3. And whats not a Mario game with out Coins. If you collect 50 Coins or Star Bits you will get a 1 up. And Every can get 5 lives from a Mail Toad.

There are various power ups in the game. The Bee Mushroom which allows Mario to fly for a short time when the A button is held. The Booshroom which makes you float in Midair while pressing A and when you shake the Wii Remote you can go through objects. The Fire Flower which allows Mario to throw fireballs at his enemies by shaking the Wii Remote. The Ice Flower which allows Mario to freeze water in small hexagonal ice platforms and skate across them freely. The RainBow star which makes Mario invincible for a short amount of time. The Red Star which allows Mario to fly when you shake the controller. And the Spring Shroom which makes Mario jump extremly high when you press A.

Now when you beat the game with all 120 stars as Mario you unlock Luigi (Mario’s Brother). When you get 120 stars with Luigi you unlock the grand finally galaxy. Which is located on the green star planet. Then after you beat that as Mario or Luigi you will get a letter on the wii mail which congraduates you on beating the game with a picture.
There is also a Multiplayer mode which allows the other player to stop enemies and collect star bits. They only get a pointer.

Mario

Bowser & Bowser Jr. W/ all Enemies

This game costs is about $20-$40. This game is really fun and has really creative fun levels. But has flaws. The only flaw with me is that the final boss is way too easy, the depth reception is horrible, and you cant skip any text (which isn’t that bad). Everything else is perfect. I give this game a 10/10. Have fun collecting 242 stars!!!

Nintendo Wii – Home Console Review

Ohh the Wii. The Wii is one of my favorite systems made. You might be thinking that the NES or the SNES or the N64 is better. Or to top that of XBox is better, Playstation is better. Well I’ll tell you why I like the Wii the best.  Well first of let talk about the console its self. Well the Wii has Gamecube Memory slots/Controller slots. Sd card slots are included also. There is a Power Adapter a Wii motion capture device, and a Video/Audio output . You can buy component cables to make the gaming in better quality. It also comes with Motion Controllers with a Nunchuck. They look complicated to use but you don’t have to use your controller. Thats one of the reasons why I like this system. They have a lot of different add ons to the Wii. Like different controllers, accessories, etc. But besides that lets talk about the gaming. The quality of the games aren’t as good as the xbox 360 or the Playstation 3 YET. Because they are making the Wii U which will be in Hd. But anyway besides that there is a mii channel on the wii where you can make your self. You can get a whole bunch of other channels too. Now this brings me to the main reason why I love this console. That you can buy old and new games for the wii on the wii.If I must mention you will need a classic controller or a gamecube controller to play most of these games. You can play Sega Genesis games, SNES games, N64 games, NES games and much more. Also you can play Gamecube games on the wii  too. Sadly you cant play all the games they made for these consoles. For Example the NES. For the games they allow you to buy on the wii are usually popular games. And they make over 1000 games for the NES. Most of them are bad anyway. There is a whether channel, Internet channel, basically anything you might need is probably at the Wii store. So if your someone like me who likes Mario or Zelda or any Classic game I would get this system. If you like the more recent game and you care about the graphics get the PlayStation or the Xbox. Also there is a wifi playing on the wii but isn’t as good as the Xbox or Playstation.

Well This has been my Nintendo Wii Review.

I recommend this (Wii) to anyone. If you don’t have one (Wii)you                                                                                                                                                     need one.

I rate this console a 9.5/10
